This course includes the rate and types of chromosome aberrations in the first trimester abortuses; the characteristics of the Multiplex Ligation-Dependent Probe Amplification method for detecting chromosome abnormalities; use of QF-PCR; discussion of whole chromosome aneuploidy, segmental aneuploidy, karyotyping, monosomy, effect of advanced maternal age, and the effect of cryopreservation between FET and ET embryos on the embryos’ developmental potential.
